Cookie policy

Necessary storage, optional analytics and advertising on Gorilla Business: active providers, storage periods and how to change or withdraw consent.

Last updated: 28 October 2026

How the choice works

Cookies are small values stored by your browser; localStorage is another form of browser storage. We ask for analytics and advertising separately. Both start off. Scrolling, continuing to browse, closing settings or sending an enquiry does not mean consent. Reject optional is available directly beside Accept all.

You can use the website and contact us after refusing. Cookie settings remains available on every page. A saved choice applies on this browser and origin only; another browser or device needs its own choice.

Necessary storage

gb_consent_v2 (first-party cookie, 180 days) records the policy/provider version, category choices and decision/expiry times. gb-consent-v2 (localStorage) mirrors that record to synchronise tabs; the application ignores it after 180 days. These records contain no random visitor ID. A legacy gb-analytics-consent-v1 choice is not reused as consent.

gorilla-language (localStorage) remembers your selected site language until you clear it. These settings serve your requested preferences. Hosting/security features may also use strictly necessary technical storage; they must not be repurposed for advertising.

Optional analytics

When enabled below, Google Analytics 4 uses _ga and _ga_* first-party identifiers (limited by our integration to the remaining 180-day consent period, without extending the cookie on each page view). Visit and interaction data can include a clean page URL, browser/device information and event time. Our custom events omit query strings and form contents. Google may receive technical network information when its SDK loads. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled.

If configured, Cloudflare Web Analytics is also gated by analytics consent even though its beacon does not use analytics cookies. It measures visits and performance. It has no optional analytics cookie to delete. The current configured providers are listed below.

Optional advertising

Meta is inactive unless a Pixel ID is configured. When enabled and you allow advertising, Meta Pixel can use _fbp and _fbc (up to 90 days under Meta’s typical defaults), plus provider-managed storage. Meta may receive device/network data and campaign interaction events. The server Conversions API is separately configured and checks advertising consent again before forwarding each event.

No advertising SDK, fallback image pixel, denied-consent ping or conversion API event is sent by this integration before advertising consent. We do not enable automatic advanced matching or automatically scrape forms. Provider cookies on other domains cannot be removed by this website; manage them in your browser or provider account.

Changing or withdrawing

Open Cookie settings and choose Reject optional or turn off a category and save. We close our event gate immediately, abort pending first-party conversion requests, save the decision, remove accessible tracker identifiers and reload. Already delivered requests cannot be recalled. Other open tabs apply the updated preference and reload if needed.

Choices expire after 180 days. Changes to the listed provider IDs or the consent policy invalidate an earlier choice and ask again. If the browser cannot save the necessary decision cookie, optional tracking remains off. Clearing cookies removes your saved choice.

We use necessary storage to remember your choices. Optional analytics helps us improve the site; advertising measures campaigns. Both stay off until you allow them.
